Within this generation, K-12 education in our country will be transformed and the overall performance of the US educational system will return to being the best in the world.
Our Mission
The Charter School Growth Fund invests philanthropic venture capital in the nation's highest performing charter school operators to dramatically expand their impact on underserved students.
Our Theory of Change
We believe that significant and dramatic changes are required to realize our vision of transformed K-12 education within this generation. Our educational system will need to evolve to be much more dynamic, performance-focused and attractive to the most talented individuals in our society. We believe that to transform K-12 education, a new cadre of high-performing organizations which operate large numbers of schools will set the pace for dramatic increases in the level of performance and expectations for students. - Over 100 charter school networks are delivering consistent levels of high-quality academics in many communities across the nation;
- Over one million students are attending schools in high-performing charter school networks nationally, serving a significant share of students in many local communities and making up 25 percent of all charter school students; and
- A new paradigm exists in K-12 education that proves that it is possible to run larger networks of great schools that consistently produce outstanding results regardless of student demographics.
