Data Requirements

Requirements for Submission of Academic Data

To ensure investment in the strongest charter networks, CSGF conducts a rigorous analysis of both student and cohort academic performance at applicant schools, using national norm-referenced test results (when available) and state criterion-referenced test results. CSGF performs several analyses using this data to determine overall student performance and whether an organization meets CSGF's academic performance standards.

To ensure that a comprehensive evaluation can be completed, CSGF requires applicants to submit achievement data, using the student-level and cohort-level templates provided, for all students tested at all schools operated. Minimum requirements are listed below, but applicants are encouraged to submit all relevant data since inception.

To be considered, applicants must submit both state and nationally norm-referenced assessment results, unless one or the other is not administered at your school (s). Please include the following:

  1. At least three (3) years of state test results* and/or
  2. At least three (3) different testing cycle results that can include one of the following*:
    1. Three (3) years of Spring testing results in three (3) consecutive years.
    2. One (1) Fall "Pre-Test", followed by a Spring test in the same academic year, followed by a Spring test in the subsequent academic year.

*Applicants with more than five (5) years of test results should contact CSGFregarding questions or submission difficulties.

Upon completion, templates can be uploaded to the Applicant Portal using the ID assigned during registration. If you have any questions or problems, please contact applications@chartergrowthfund.org.
